A number of events are hosted during the course of the summer on the Copper Harbor Trails. Ride the Keweenaw, Copper Harbor Ladies Weekend, Run the Keweenaw, and Bell's Beer Copper Harbor Trails Fest support the trails with either all or a portion of the proceeds going to Copper Harbor Trails Club efforts to expand, improve, and maintain our world-class trail system. Pick your poison, bicycles or running shoes.
Other dates that pop up on the calendar include Thursday group rides (open to all), scattered trail work days, and a few social events in between. The best way to keep up is to follow the Copper Harbor Trails Club Facebook page.
Ride the Keweenaw, a family-friendly event weekend, is held over Memorial Day weekend and features all the great riding in the Keweenaw Region with everything from guided rides to enduro racing to social events. Let us introduce you to all five of our great trail systems with over 120 miles of singletrack!
A mountain bike skills weekend for the guys. Professional rider and industry veteran Phil Ott leads up this three-day event catered to riders of all abilities. Participation is capped. Registration opens March 15th at 12pm.
Run to your heart's content over this two day challenge. Events include Mt. Baldy Summit Run, 10 K Copper Harbor Trails Challenge and Non-Competitive Run/Hike, 2K Junior Trail Run and the 25K Carl Olson Memorial Adventure Run. Choose one event or conquer the weekend by competing in the Summit Run, 12K and 25K. (Hosted by the local Ski Tigers organization.)
The 5th Annual Copper Harbor Ladies Weekend will be 2.5 days of on the trail learning, skill and educational sessions, and social events. Copper Harbor will once again be a featured stop on the Liv Ladies AllRide MTB Skills Clinic calendar of events. This is a must attend event for ladies of all ages and skill levels!
The best weekend of the riding season in Copper Harbor. On the schedule for the 23rd Annual Event: Lake Superior Gravity Series Enduro and Downhill, XC Races, Kids Races, Party in the Park, Art Bike At the Harbor, Two Nights of Music, and lots of riding time. Of course you should bring your friends!
