Trail Maintenance Worker Kyle HiltunenThank you for your interest in working for the Copper Harbor Trails Club!  As our system has grown, so too have our maintenance and fundraising needs.  We currently have two positions open for our 2024 season to assist with keeping our system in good shape and fundraising for additional trail construction.  With your help, we can ensure visiting riders have the best experience possible while keeping safety issues to a minimum.  Download details of each position below.

Trail Worker

  • The Trail Worker position will assist the Trail Maintenance Lead with all aspects of caring for our trails.  Expect a variety of lopping, drainage repairs, tree clearing, sign installation, and leaf blowing, rock racking, etc. This role is based in Copper Harbor and requires a tolerance for bugs and adverse weather conditions.

Fundraising & Outreach Manager 

  • Our Fundraising & Outreach Manager will assist the Executive Director with raising money to build and maintain our world-class trail system. Creative approaches and fresh ideas are appreciated, as is experience with tried and true methods tied to industry sponsors, major and planned giving, and membership campaigns. This role will also spearhead outreach initiatives both big and small.
